Tea Rooms of New York

When I visit New York I constantly go to a few tea rooms. This helps slows down the pace of city existence and offers you some time to stop and reflect for your day. Here are my favourites Brooklyn’s premier beauty lounge.

My modern favorite is Teany (ninety Rivington Street) in the Lower East Side. This is a lovely little café, together owned via Moby and Kelly. They have over 100 speciality teas in stock, and the fine is first magnificence. The café is absolutely vegetarian with masses of vegan alternatives. Their vegan cheesecake is mainly properly.

Another of my favorite is Tea Spot (127 Macdougal Street). Just a minute faraway from Washington Square Park, this vicinity gets pretty full with college students in the course of term time. They have seating upstairs and downstairs and additionally provide loose wi-fi get entry to. They have a totally big choice of teas, which are also available to get rid of. They also sell a number of desserts, pastries and sandwiches.

Or how about Podunk (231 East fifth Street), a small, homely tea shop near 2nd Avenue. This little location is run by means of a husband, wife and daughter crew, so is a real circle of relatives affair. This café offers over 20 food which can be paired up with special teas. Note that this café doesn’t have a restroom.

If you’re heading into Brooklyn, then the vicinity to move is the Tea Lounge (837 Union Street, Brooklyn). This is a big tea room in an antique warehouse space. It has mismatch sofas and chairs all over and is normally full of humans of all ages and backgrounds operating away on their laptops. It’s open till 1am weekdays and 2am on weekends.
Enjoy!
